The title 'Night Fishing in the Desert' instantly inspires intrigue within you. The uniqueness of those specific words strung together assures you that once you're done listening to this album, you'll have a new view of life and the world. The album was recorded within two days & and makes use of a plethora of instruments including guitars (both acoustic and electric), bass, drums, and even violin. The album showcases the versatility of the artists as individuals and as a band.

Getting into the tracks - the first song is 'Wonderful Woman'. The guitar strums paired with the lyrics make it sound dreamy. It gives off puppy-love vibes as Keith sings about the woman who "saved his soul". The whistling part truly makes it feel like an old-school love song.

The following track, 'Black Crows on the Highway', resembles the classics through and through. The lyrics speak about our need to constantly work towards perfection in our lives to achieve our goals.

The next track on the album, 'Can't Fight Lightening' denotes the hurt and betrayal we've all felt at some point. The vocals perfectly express the anger and disbelief the song needs to portray.

'Autumn (While You Were Sleeping)' has to be the softest, most soulful song from this album. "Gonna rife into heaven from hell. You can run from my love but you can never be free from it" is a possessive and assertive portrayal of love. It gives off a folky-fairytale vibe. The end melody ascends higher and higher and then fades away just as softly as it began.

The 5th track, 'Clockwork Toy' is Hagger's favourite. This one immediately hits as a song in your 'get work done' playlist. It broaches the subject of the monotonous life that one leads as a corporate slave working 9-5. The melancholic violin notes at the 2-minute, 6-second mark will surely tug at your heartstrings as they keep growing stronger and steadier. When the artist sings, "I don't plan to stay", it makes you determined to leave your misery behind as well.

The music of 'Live Fast, Die Young' contrasts the lyricism of the track about one constantly being productive, neglecting his physical and mental health, while there's a peppy melody playing in the background.

'Lost', the 7th track, is full of hurt and despair - mentioning the feeling of being abandoned, yet it is soft in a way that feels comforting. It picks up beats of the drums towards the end which gives it a positive note.

'Case file 303' can only be described as steady guitar strums accompanying an interesting crime documentary.

The 9th track of the album is called 'Lucky Number 9'. It adds a hint of playfulness to an already upbeat song. This one will surely make you tap your feet.

'Convent of Mercy' starts with choir music - sticking to the theme of the song. What I love about this song is that it can be decoded differently by different people based on their life experiences.

'Love me or Leave me' puts out a straightforward message that the artist doesn't want to be strung along. I like that the song has a snippet of dial tone in the beginning - it truly makes the experience immersive.

'The Hustle' again speaks of today's work culture. Whereas the last song, 'Wings of Love', makes you feel a sense of freedom with its beautiful melody.

This album is enjoyable and takes you through many different emotions.

Please listen and enjoy the captivating experience.
