Stefanos Barbalias is a Greek songwriter, composer, and sound designer with an unrestrained passion for music. Having studied piano, guitar and electronic dance music production, the artist is well-versed in the realm of rhythm.
His latest single, "Out of Faith", showcases his mastery of upbeat, groovy tunes. The song is an emotionally charged account of what going through life feels like when wanting a genuine connection with someone. Each one of us deals with the exhaustion that comes with societal pressures; this track showcases those emotions perfectly.
"Out of faith, out of desire. To set the night on fire. Out of shape, out to retire. Just another man for hire" These lyrics penned by Stefanos himself are not just full of depth but also relatable. These lines express the feelings of burn out and a deep need for hope well. The beautiful instrumentation by talented musicians such as Stavros Parginos on cello, Petros Lambrides on bass, Nikos Papavranousis on drums, Alexis Kraniou on guitar and Costas Stergiou on keys add to the overall magic of the track.
