Robbarti or Rob is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the scenic country of Scotland, much like his Scottish ancestors he has a knack for composing great music and that quality is reflected in his new track, ‘Remember’.
‘Remember’ from the get-go is an upbeat track but if you listen closely, you can hear the pathos of longing being illustrated ever-so-gently in the precipices of this song. The music has a great beat which would make you groove, but the lyrics will make you reflect on the love, loss, and grief you store deep with your being. This is why I believe the lyricism of this song is the best aspect of it because very few artists have the ability to compose a track that makes you tap your feet but also makes you peek within your soul. My favourite part of the song was the climax because of the deeply layered yet sophisticated composition.
With stellar composition, deep lyrics, and thumping beats, this song should be a great addition to your late-night long drive playlist, I can totally imagine myself jamming on this song alone while driving by the beach on a chilly night.
