Flamingo Dogs, a hip-hop group based in Los Angeles, California, is a duo of James Paxton (moniker - Love, Pax) and Jared Connor McGill. They dress up as a Flamingo and a Dog and are often misunderstood as furries, but this duo is highly talented as musicians.

James Paxton is the lead vocalist and lyricist for the Flamingo Dogs, while Jared Connor manages the composition part of the song-making process. The duo is widely known for their soundtracks for 'Why Did You Kill Me?' and 'Nightcrawler'.
With their latest single, 'Save Me The Night Tonight's, the artists shift from their usual alternative hip-hop genre to something more electronic and synth-pop. This track, for me, was such a gratifying mix of escapist, comfortable melodies and lyricism that touched me enough to keep me awake at night.
The soundscape of 'Save Me The Night' can only be described as swoon-worthy. It's soft and innovative and compliments the vocals really well. I was bobbing my head and clapping to the beats from the get-go.
The lyrics speak of the innate need for verbal comfort and reassurance shown by actions that all of us have in our relationships. The repeating plea, "Save me tonight", conveys the artist's need for saving from the situation their relationship is stuck in, or maybe salvation from their own insecurities.
Love, Pax writes, "If I could die right by your side, Let's take our souls and multiply." If that's not the most loving, heartbreaking yet healing thing anyone has said, my hopeless romantics, then I don't know what is.
